On 10th and 13rd October 2017, CIAPE was in Dubrovnik (Croatia) attending the third international meeting of SILVIA Project – Supporting intergenerational learning and volunteering as a mean for inclusion through autobiographical learning. It is an Erasmus+ strategic partnership involving six organisations coming from Sweden, France, Italy, Portugal, Turkey and Croatia, all active in the field of non-formal learning, adult education and lifelong learning.
The opportunity to develop a training path was shown during the meeting, through a recommended MOOC (Massive Online Open Courses) which aims to foster civic competences of young migrant women in a NEET situation, increasing awareness of the importance of digital inclusion and reducing the intergenerational gap in ICT competencies.
The event has been a good opportunity of best practices’ exchange between trainers in non-formal education for adults in the field of ICT’s.
Moreover, the meeting has been the occasion for partners to share the results achieved and to make a plan according to the next deadlines: in April 16th – 22nd 2018 there will be in Lisbon (Portugal) a training session in which women between 18 and 50 years old will be involved.
The dissemination event of the Project will be held in Rome, in June 2018.
