Co-funded under the Erasmus+ Programme, LEAMAN – Manager in an Efficient and Innovative Leather Company is a project designed to provide innovative training tools for leather enterprises’ managers in order to make them capable of acquiring the skills and knowledges required by the current labour market.
The end-May meeting was the occasion for the seven partners, coming from six EU member countries, to focus on the state of project implementation, but also to agree on the future strategy and deadlines. In particular:
- CIAPE shared proposals for the MOOC structure “Being a manager of an efficient and innovative leather enterprise”: this activity will heavily engage the whole partnership during the coming months.
- In July 2017, a workshop will be set up for the validation and integration of the field research (a first version will soon be available on the website of the project) concerning the state of the art in the leather industry and in related sectors. Participation is open to experienced experts and entrepreneurs. For info and registrations: firstname.lastname@example.org
- Next autumn, a multiplier event aiming at sharing good practices and project results will be held in Italy. Keep an eye on our website and Facebook page for updates!
The Corfù meeting also represented a world-wide dissemination opportunity. Indeed, the consortium had the chance to present the LEAMAN project during a seminar organized in the framework of the 2017 edition of the AUTEX World Conference on Textile.
